Health & Wellness In The Home
Relationship education, before it’s too late
I started the More To Dela Wellness Foundation because I lived through what happens when no one teaches you what a healthy relationship actually looks like. Relationship education matters for people of every age. Learning to communicate, set boundaries, understand consent and work through conflict is what makes healthy, lasting relationships possible. We work to prevent abuse and to build a culture of mutual respect, in the home and beyond it.

The More To Dela Wellness Foundation was Founded in January 2024 By Dela Mortoo. The foundation operates in both the United States and in Ghana.
The foundation is dedicated to promoting healthy relationships and family wellness.
Our mission is to empower individuals with the tools to recognise an unhealthy relationship and build a community that prioritises emotional wellness for everyone.
Abuse can come in many different forms. Abuse doesn’t have to be obvious to be called abuse. At More To Dela Wellness Foundation, we recognise that. We aim to raise awareness, educate, and end all forms of mistreatment and abuse within relationships regardless of gender.

Relationship Education – Things to look out for that make a relationship healthy or unhealthy. We also tackle sex education within this as it is a huge part of fostering a healthy relationship.
Domestic Abuse Awareness – MDWF is passionate about highlighting the signs of domestic abuse, which are often hidden.
Transitional Housing – For those who need to escape an abusive relationship we provide a safe space for you to be able to start over and gather your life together again. Our transitional homes will give you the time and space to plan your next steps.
Emotional Wellness Support – We understand that life can get heavy sometimes. We want to give you the tools to know how and when you need a break and why self-care is important.
Family Wellness – Helping families of African descent and it’s diasporians break cycles of emotional trauma, financial instability, and relational dysfunction.
